Can I go to jail for hanging Protest Signs on buildings?

if they didn't put my in jail ( i was posting anarchy signs on police station) then you wont go to....i mean why would you go? there isn't a law for this...at least not in my country... and they saw me and did nothing.... there just isn't a law for this....well they can Only threat you but nothing else if they put you in jail for that you can sue them for that....
