If you fail a nursing program, could you apply to dental school?

I failed a nursing program but now I want to go to dentistry, which was my goal from jump but was scared of cost and duration on the program. So my question is would a dental school accept me because I failed nursing? I know st Vincent college told me they won't because it doesn't look good. Which I can kind of understand but that's my fault I only did nursing for other reason than having a pion for it because I sure didn't. Anyway help me please
