Do goths necessarily listen to goth music.?

I don't like goth music, but like emotional music (Ellie Goulding, Erin Mccarley, Imogen Heap, Indigo Grls, Stevie Nicks). Is it still considered goth to want to write and listen to highly emotional music while not liking the normal goth music?
