Why does our Betta fish look faded yellowish this morning?

You said you have a filter Betta's don't like fast flowing water so you should use something to slow down the flow of water e.g a peice of slate or and ornament. They also need lots of plants as they like to hide sometimes. The plants should be live ones as then it is more like their natural habbitat.
